Join Our Team!We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a distinguished provider of healthcare services. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
About the Maintenance Assistant Role:- Performing routine maintenance tasks
- Conducting minor repairs and performing preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Assisting in the preparation of areas for special events and activities
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service
- Responding to maintenance requests and prioritizing tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a healthcare or maintenance setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work varied shifts and flexible scheduling as needed
