General Maintenance

Aramark is seeking a General Maintenance I team member to support facilities at Indian Prairie CUSD 204. In this role, you will perform routine building, grounds, and equipment maintenance, including basic repairs, painting, minor plumbing, and light carpentry. You'll complete work orders, inspect facilities for safety issues, and assist with event setups and seasonal tasks such as snow removal. Working closely with a supportive team, you'll follow safety procedures, maintain tools and supplies, and help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
• Complete basic repairs including painting, minor plumbing, and light carpentry
• Respond to and complete assigned maintenance work orders
• Inspect facilities to identify safety or maintenance issues
• Support event setups, room configurations, and equipment moves
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and grounds care
• Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools safely
• Follow Aramark and district safety procedures and reporting protocols
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas and storage spaces
• Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and supervisors
