We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a distinguished provider of healthcare services. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
About the Maintenance Assistant Role:Performing routine maintenance tasks
Conducting minor repairs and performing preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery
Assisting in the preparation of areas for special events and activities
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service
Responding to maintenance requests and prioritizing tasks as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a healthcare or maintenance setting preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work varied shifts and flexible scheduling as needed
