Housekeeping Manager (Malayalee)

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping team at our luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. As a Malayalee, you will bring your strong work ethic and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met throughout the hotel.

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols in accordance with hotel policies
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Maintain records of expenses, budgets, and staff performance evaluations

• Fluency in Malayalam language (spoken and written)
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in a hospitality setting
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Proven customer service experience with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

• Experience working in a luxury hotel environment
• Knowledge of other languages commonly spoken by guests such as English or Arabic
