Rover Maintenance Technician

Responsible for providing high-quality maintenance services across multiple properties, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities- General Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairs in various properties to prepare units in vacant apartments. General repairs and preventive maintenance in occupied apartments - Emergency Response:
Handle emergencies during normal work hours and be on call after hours to address urgent maintenance issues. - Property Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of property exteriors and interiors, logging any defects and making necessary repairs. - Record Keeping:
Enter daily maintenance information into property management software and maintain accurate maintenance records. - Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their maintenance requests and concerns promptly. - Collaboration:
Work cooperatively with other maintenance staff and assist the Resident Manager, Regional Managers, and Maintenance Coordinators with special projects as needed.
Transportation:
Must have and maintain reliable, available transportation and valid driver’s license.
Must be willing to travel as much as 60 miles one way each day.
Experience:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in facility management.
Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge, ability to troubleshoot various systems such as HVAC, household appliances, plumbing and electrical, and familiarity with maintenance management software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, climbing, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions over the course of a normal workday.
Communication:
Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
Certifications:
HVAC EPA Universal or Type 2 certification is preferred, but not always required.
These qualifications ensure that the technician can effectively perform maintenance tasks and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Pay based on experience.
