Plant Engineering Supervisor

• Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership.
• Providing direct supervision to assigned employees through visible leadership, coaching, and training; giving work direction to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensuring appropriate use of CMMS (maintenance management system) and other computerized maintenance records.
• Scheduling, assigning, and directing craftspeople in the performance of maintenance tasks for equipment.
• Driving the on‑time completion of Preventative Maintenance (PM) for the site.
• Acting as liaison for Corrective Maintenance (CM) action‑item updates and coordinating resource allocation to manage CM backlog.
• Evaluating equipment and maintenance history to determine and establish appropriate Preventive Maintenance requirements and/or recommend predictive maintenance programs to optimize effectiveness and maximize equipment reliability.
• Participating in the selection of new employees.
• Evaluating employees’ performance and providing feedback.
• Completing administrative forms and reports to provide necessary and appropriate information related to maintenance tasks and personnel actions.
• Performing additional accountabilities as assigned by the Plant Engineering Manager.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, OR a high‑school diploma/GED and six (6) years of manufacturing experience, plus one (1) combined year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Associate’s degree in an industrial maintenance‑related technical field OR a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Maximo.

• Work location: On‑site, Guin, AL
• Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international.
• Relocation: May be authorized.
• Shift: Day shift.
• Visa: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
