Maintenance - Jared Jewelers - Shoppes at Arbor Lakes

Our Maintenance / Porter will help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for Jared Jewelers customers by performing general maintenance tasks inside and outside the store.

• Perform all general maintenance, inside and outside the store.
• Maintain the appearance of the sales floor by picking/sweeping spills and debris.
• Maintain glass windows and doors, keeping them spot‑free.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms on a designated schedule.
• Maintain the break room in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
• Maintain the outside appearance of the store by sweeping or picking up debris and ensuring trash containers are emptied regularly.
• Clear away snow, slush or ice from in front of the entrance.
• Monitor maintenance performed by contracted vendors.
• Utilize the ETS in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Genuine desire to service our customers by keeping our retail stores and outside appearance orderly.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
• Moderate interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, basic carpentry skills.
• Visual and auditory skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Base pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour (final pay rate determined by experience and qualifications).
