Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to ensure that our manufacturing equipment and infrastructure are always in perfect working condition. The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician include performing routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance, diagnosing faults, repairing or replacing faulty parts, and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and is comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment.

Knowledge of plastic injection molding is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunctions.
• Conduct tests to ensure proper machine functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faults in machinery and equipment.
• Replace worn and faulty parts as needed.
• Respond to breakdowns and call-outs in a timely manner.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance and repair work.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• Operate tools (including hand tools) and machinery in order to install, fabricate, repair, etc.
• Conduct required safety, quality and maintenance inspections as needed.
• Perform lockout/tagout according to OSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and conduct repairs.
• Comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a relevant certification or degree is a plus.
