The Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, managing maintenance schedules, overseeing less-experienced associates, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers. The position requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate documentation and budget oversight. The Senior Technician also provides hands-on training and supports continuous improvement efforts to uphold quality and operational excellence across company facilities.

What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and document wear, damage, and repair needs using blueprints and manuals.
- Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to complete maintenance tasks.
- Lead and mentor less-experienced technicians, providing hands‑on training and guidance.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor coordination to support operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and company vehicles following safety protocols.
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs, and to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines, ensuring compliance in all maintenance activities.
- Experience managing work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor coordination to support operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to oversee projects, mentor associates, and deliver hands‑on training.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities to collaborate with teams and support continuous improvement.
