Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Housekeeper (Full-Time)

Rainbow Omega, Inc. is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides high-quality vocational and residential care programs to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) are designed to offer comprehensive, specialized support in a home-like environment. We are seeking a thorough and detail-oriented ICF Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and comfort for our residents.

The ICF Housekeeper is responsible for the vital day-to-day cleaning and infection control protocols within our Intermediate Care Facilities. Because these buildings house residents with diverse health and developmental needs, this role is critical for preventing the spread of illness and ensuring compliance with regulatory cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate takes deep pride in maintaining a sterile yet warm, dignity-first living environment.

• Sanitation & Infection Control: Disinfect and deep-clean high-touch areas, common rooms, restrooms, and resident living spaces according to established health guidelines.
• Floor & Surface Care: Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure clean, hazard-free walkways for residents and care staff.
• Waste Management: Ensure safe and timely trash removal, including the proper disposal of specialized waste according to facility safety rules.
• Chemical Safety & Supply Management: Safely handle, dilute, and store commercial cleaning chemicals; monitor housekeeping inventory and request restocks as needed.
• Compassionate Interaction: Respect the privacy, personal property, and dignity of our residents while operating efficiently within their campus homes.

• Experience
  :
  One (1) year of professional cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred (experience in a healthcare facility, nursing home, or ICF setting is a plus).
• Education
  :
  High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Age Requirement
  :
  Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Licensing
  :
  Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Background Check: A clear pre-employment background check and a clean drug screen are strict requirements.
