Industrial Technician
Our client is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Industrial Technicians. This entry-level position offers hands-on training, opportunities for career growth, and the chance to build valuable skills in the environmental services industry. As an Industrial Technician, you will support industrial cleaning and environmental service projects throughout Alabaster and the surrounding Birmingham areas. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a hardworking team.
As an Industrial Technician, you will assist with a variety of industrial and environmental service projects, including:
- Industrial equipment and facility cleaning
- Pressure washing and high-pressure water cleaning
- Lancing and jetting operations
- Storm drain cleaning and maintenance
- Vacuum truck operations
- Industrial tank cleaning
- Emergency response and environmental spill cleanup
- Assisting experienced technicians with job site tasks and safety procedures
Previous experience in industrial cleaning, general labor, construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Experience operating industrial equipment or hand tools is a plus. Previous experience working in outdoor or physically demanding environments preferred. Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Valid driver's license required. Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Willingness to travel to different job sites. Ability to work in an ever-changing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, and reach while performing job duties. Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
