Become a vital part of the City of Woodstock as a Skilled Labourer in the Public Works department. Your primary role will involve assisting the public at the Enviro Depot while creatively tackling waste management challenges. This full time, permanent position involves safely handling Household Hazardous Waste and ensuring a clean working setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the public in using the Enviro Depot correctly
- Ensure the protected handling of hazardous materials
- Maintain site cleanliness and prevent safety hazards
- Operate vehicles and equipment for waste collection
- Perform minor repairs and manage fee transactions
- Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
- Valid TDG and Class 'DZ' driver's licence
- First Aid and CPR certification mandatory
- Excellent physical fitness required
- Successful completion of criminal record checks
