• Weighing trucks and trailers using a computerized scale
• Accurately calculating and recording numbers and information
• Monitoring and inspecting all components of the weigh scale to ensure it is in proper working order
• Ensuring the scale is clear and clean of debris, including snow, rocks, leaves, etc.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and providing reports as requested
• Identifying potential issues and performing light maintenance of the scale and the scale house
• Maintaining communication with management and other departments
• Other job duties as assigned

• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as a team
• The ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
• The ability and willingness to work long hours, indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions
• The ability to lift 25 pounds
