Field Production Operator
The Field Production Operator supports internal and external client needs by performing job requirements in support of Facility and Pipeline Projects including preventative maintenance, mechanical installations & repairs, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. Maintain compliance with required HSE Training.
Ensure all work conducted in in his / her area is properly permitted.
Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives. The STP Facility Operator has STOP work authority.
Participating in safety meetings, work safely, and maintain a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
Promote and participate in Safety Programs.
Be a team player, striving for an interdependent, successful, and effective approach to meeting our vision, mission and business objectives:
Communicate daily status of current projects to Facility Operations and the O&M Superintendent as necessary to ensure all projects are timely and within company and client standards.
Attend and participate in required meetings, trainings, exercises, and drills.
Safely maintains equipment and supports pipeline operations, including reading / interpreting schematic drawings (Process & Instrumentation Drawing (P&) and electrical), inspecting / monitoring equipment and maintaining operation / technical standards and/or governmental requirements.
Demonstrates the ability to monitor operations with minimal guidance. Ability to watch gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure equipment is working correctly.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain systems and equipment relay logic systems, PLCs, turbine controls, compressor surge flow totalizing loops, air drying systems, local and remote annunciators, gas/oil fired heaters and re-boilers, and valves of varying designs and manufacturers.
Work with tubing and piping fittings from vacuum to high pressures to exceed 5000 psi and electrical circuits with potentials up to 50 volts.
Maintains general knowledge of work site locations, equipment, and permitting.
