Scale Operator

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks and trailers using a computerized scale.
• Accurately calculate and record numbers and information.
• Monitor and inspect all components of the weigh scale to ensure proper working order.
• Keep the scale clear and clean of debris, including snow, rocks, leaves, etc.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide reports as requested.
• Identify potential issues and perform light maintenance of the scale and the scale house.
• Maintain communication with management and other departments.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Willingness to work long hours, indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

$25 per hour
