Janitor at Chenega Corporation in Fort Greely, AK. The Janitor is responsible for general upkeep, maintenance cleaning, restocking and securing interior buildings, facilities, lobby's office areas, restrooms, and all areas determined by contract or assigned by supervisor.

• Picks up trash and replaces trash liners.
• Vacuum, mop, polish, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dusts, spot cleans all glass, polishes, and sanitizes all areas.
• Washes, cleans, wipes down, sponges, rinses, scours and disinfects any assigned work area.
• Notes and reports all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.
• Closes and secures all rooms upon exiting.
• Identifies safety and hazards and acts accordingly.
• Carries out proper cleaning procedures on a daily basis.
• Operates floor cleaning and other cleaning equipment.
• Adheres to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Valid state driver's license.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
• Ability to complete tasks to the highest standards possible.
• Ability to deal with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
• May use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision.
