Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Maintenance Manager

We need a leader who develops technicians, builds strong teams, creates accountability, and partners with production to drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for developing current and future maintenance talent by:
- Coaching and mentoring technicians
- Supporting cross-training initiatives
- Creating clear development paths for technicians and team leaders
- Ensuring new employees are successfully onboarded and integrated into the team
You will help move the organization from reactive habits toward disciplined execution by:
- Holding employees accountable fairly and consistently
- Addressing performance concerns constructively
- Leading through influence and example
- Preventive maintenance
- Predictive maintenance
- Reliability improvement initiatives
- Work order management
- Technician scheduling and workforce planning
We’re not looking for the best mechanic in the plant. We’re looking for the leader who can build the best maintenance team in the plant.

Technical Background
Candidates should possess strong industrial maintenance experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Inverter and DC Drives
- AC & DC Servo Drives
- Robotics and automation systems
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Highly automated manufacturing equipment
Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
Education and Experience
Preferred
Associate Degree in:
- Mechatronics
- Electrical Technology
- Related technical field
Equivalent combinations of technical training, certifications, military experience, and demonstrated maintenance leadership experience will be considered.
Experience We Value
- 7+ years industrial maintenance experience
- 3+ years maintenance leadership experience
- Experience leading technicians in a multi-craft environment
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing operations
Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years industrial maintenance experience
- 5+ years of leadership responsibility
- History of developing technicians and future leaders
- Experience improving reliability, training programs, and team performance
Proven success leading culture and behavior change initiatives

- CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)
