Job Description
Our Vantage Technical Services division is looking to hire an ATM Technician in the Albany, NY area. This position includes working in all aspects of ATM operations, programming, assembly, repair, cash loading, and installation. The individual will need to be detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and have experience in one or more areas of ATM service and/or cash operations.
The person will operate in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment and must be passionate about accepting change and constantly looking to influence the future outlook of the company.
- Make on-site visits to locations to repair or install ATM equipment
- Program ATMs unassisted or with assistance from Technical Support
- Repair and test ATM parts
- Install, repair or replace ATM signage in customer locations
- Document activities within the PAI system
- Perform preventative maintenance on ATMs as assigned
- Manage parts inventory on assigned service vehicle
- Drive vehicles from a minimum of 5 days per week in accordance with service calls as they are dispatched/assigned
- Other field and service work as business needs present themselves within scope of practice

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to prioritize and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner
- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality relating to sensitive information
- Must be willing to work some overtime, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Experience with ATMs preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite to include Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Working knowledge of PAIReports a plus
- Ability to use a mobile device for reporting activity during the day
This work is performed on the road at different locations. The working environment can be distracting due to noise. Constant moving up/down/around the job site area. Must have the ability to bend, reach over your head, and lift or move up to 250 lbs with assistance from a hand-dolly.
Supervisory / Management DutiesThe employee is not responsible for supervising other positions. A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required. Position requires successfully passing a drug test prior to hire and upon any accident/incident or discharge of firearm while on duty.
