Overview
Join our team of 4,000 energetic employees working across WA to supply and manage water, ultimately benefiting the lives of our communities and environment. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Albany depot.
What does a Water Operator do?Picture a plumber fixing a burst pipe in your house. Now think about a leaking pipe in the street, same problem. The only difference is you’re keeping your community’s water supply running. As a Water Operator, you’re regularly outdoors, you’re digging trenches, inspecting pipelines, and repairing broken water services. You’re learning a collection of skills that can set you on your way to a technical, management or leadership role.
Your main concern is keeping the water supply network running, that’s finding and fixing faults on pipes and joints. It’s upgrading the water supply network and it’s understanding the end-to-end water cycle and how water networks help your local community.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Albany depot.
