Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
Job Overview
Performs technical, pre‑defined tasks to deliver service for customer Siemens Healthineers equipment.
Locations: Orange County NY, Clinton County NY (I87 Corridor)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (1500‑2330)
Responsibilities- Service CT (Catscan), MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), and MI (Molecular Imaging) equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage financial performance within your territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service‑call closure.
- Maintain company assets including company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Build and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Support customers remotely and onsite, providing 2nd and 3rd level user support.
- Coordinate and accomplish defined service operations and resolve product issues for customer equipment.
- Assist in generating sales leads for pre‑defined service offers and contribute to planning activities.
- Adhere to defined processes and applicable regulations.
- High school diploma minimum; technical degree, military training, or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years of experience servicing complex electro‑mechanical or medical technology equipment.
- Proficient in use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Valid driver's license with ability to drive independently day and night; clean driving record.
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs, walk, climb ladders / step stools, bend, twist, sit, squat, stand, reach high, and fine‑grasp manipulation; good vision.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of electricity, power supplies, and grounding principles.
- Highly organized and capable of planning.

PayBase pay range: $85,000 – $100,000 annually (may vary by location and experience).
