Position Title
Building Maintenance Mechanic (12 Months)
Reporting ToDirector of Facilities/Assistant Director of Facilities
HoursFlexible 8.0 hour day, starting between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Current LocationDistrict Wide
ResponsibilitiesPerforms skilled building repair and maintenance work or supervises a number of semi-skilled workers in a buildings and grounds maintenance and repair program; does related work as required.
Salary and BenefitsAccording to Schedule K of the CSEA Contract ($50,082.00 starting salary)
Minimum Requirements- Two (2) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one (1) or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical.
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s License at time of appointment and throughout employment.
- Good knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the standard trades, mechanical aptitude, industry.
- Dependability.
- Manual dexterity.
