As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and production machinery, helping to keep operations running smoothly. What You'll Do As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Performing routine and preventative maintenance on facilities and production equipment Supporting building and ground upkeep including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work Assisting with minor maintenance on forging presses and furnaces Documenting maintenance activities and completing required paperwork Assisting with scrap recovery and material handling activities What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
High School diploma or GED Basic mechanical and maintenance aptitude and willingness to learn Desire to be trained into a maintenance technician role Previous maintenance or manufacturing background preferred Ability to follow safety procedures and detailed instructions Forklift experience is a plus Why Join Us in Albany?
