Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is seeking a maintenance employee to join our team. The maintenance employee is responsible for the internal tasks and helping in the maintenance of all hotel facilities to ensure they are in optimal operating conditions, carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs in the machine room (including heating, electrical installation, air conditioning, plumbing and refrigeration). The position also includes learning various technical computer systems and interacting with guests.

• Have fluency with carpentry, electricity, plumbing, painting, and plasterboard as part of the daily work.
• Work in a coordinated and professional team together with colleagues and supervisors.
• Act on guest calls related to maintenance of rooms and their equipment, as well as in public areas.
• Act on any type of emergency such as fire, or electrical power failures.
• Clean all maintenance work centers, grease stains, plumbing leaks and keep the department organized.

Our ideal maintenance employee has excellent communication skills and great problem-solving abilities. Working independently and efficiently are indispensable requirements. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of technical experience, or a higher technical professional training certificate. Speaking English is advisable, but not necessary. Candidates must have a flexible schedule with the possibility of working holidays and weekends. All documents must be in order to work in Spain and fluency in Spanish is required.

• This is a full-time position (40h/week).
• The work schedule will be on rotating shifts (morning, afternoon or night) and shifts can be between weekdays and weekends.
