Trinity Place, part of Lutheran Services Carolinas, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Housekeeping Aide. · Full-Time
Schedule:
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, with two additional days off during the week.
· Part-Time Housekeeper:
Shifts run 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, with alternating Friday and Tuesday workweeks.
· Weekend and Second Shift Differential:
Employees receive an additional $3 per hour on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and for second shift hours (3 p.m.–11 p.m.)
· Comprehensive Benefits:
Eligibility after 30 days includes insurance coverage, paid time off, and access to a no-premium health insurance option.
· Additional Earnings:
Employees who opt out of benefits may earn an extra $3.00 per hour.
Position Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Aide will uphold the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere for both residents and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
o Dusting, sweeping, and mopping assigned areas
· Emptying and sanitizing waste receptacles
· Cleaning bathrooms and fixtures
· Wiping down walls and chrome fixtures
· Reporting maintenance requirements and potential hazards
· Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring courteous communication
· Engaging in ongoing training and embodying organizational values
· Cross-training for laundry duties as required
Candidate Qualifications
o Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
· Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, but not essential
· High level of attention to detail and effective communication skills
· Capacity for both independent and collaborative work
· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly; ability to stand, bend, and climb as needed
Work Environment
o Predominantly indoor work with occasional outdoor assignments
· Possible exposure to cleaning agents and infrequent contact with blood or bodily fluids
