We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to contribute at Desert Willow, a 224-unit apartment community located in Albuquerque, NM.
Your Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and aesthetics of the property, enhancing the living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the property for maintenance needs and initiate repairs or replacements.
- Respond to work requests for both common areas and individual apartment units.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Assess, troubleshoot, and repair appliances as needed.
- Assist in preparing vacant apartment units for new residents.
- Participate in occasional on-call duties (with trip stipend if called back after hours).
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and painting required.
- HVAC and EPA certification is a plus.
- CPO certification is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and insurance may be required.
