Warehouse Technician

Position

Warehouse Technician based in Albuquerque, NM.

$20 - $22 per hour (DOE).

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining required inventory levels, ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining an organized warehouse layout; processing purchase orders; loading outgoing freight; unloading incoming freight; maintaining records; and managing all returns. Position requires work inside as well as outside, including working in inclement weather.

• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) for moving large and heavy items safely and effectively.
• Ensure customer orders are correct and assist customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a viable relationship with truck drivers and customers to ensure needs are met at all times.
• Safely lift, push, pull, and lower up to 450 lbs. barrels of lubricants numerous times daily.
• Maintain quantities of bulk oil and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required.

• Ability and willingness to use safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear plugs.
• 2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification within 3 months.
• Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
