Plant Technician

What role you will play in our team

Technician – You will manage day‑to‑day activities and play an integral part in surveillance of oil and cryo‑gas treating operations. Your responsibilities include work authorization and ensuring the safety of each authorized job. Operators must safely isolate process equipment for maintenance and repair and keep detailed logs of all work.

• Perform surveillance of pumps, compressors, heaters, and towers; take readings and perform lock‑out/tag‑out.
• Start and stop equipment, strap tanks and vessels, and unload/load transport trucks.
• Take and analyze hydrocarbon samples; operate forklifts and man‑lifts around the plant.
• Maintain general housekeeping and facility maintenance.
• Work a 14 on/14 off schedule, day or night shift, 12‑hour shifts.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong safety culture.
• Works well alone and with others.
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Learn and utilize WMS permit‑to‑work system.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, One Note, Excel, and Outlook.
• Previous oil and gas operations experience recommended but not required.
