LDAR Technician

Job Overview

The LDAR Technician will perform leak detection and repair (LDAR), collect and evaluate data, maintain records, and use complex analyzers and instrumentation to optimize system performance.

• Perform LDAR policies and procedures at the assigned project site.
• Daily analyzer calibration.
• Routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.
• Quarterly certification of analyzers.
• Coordinate LDAR field activities with contract technicians.
• Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
• Repair leaking components.
• Generate work requests and follow up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
• Maintain record keeping for monitoring and repairs.
• Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews.

• Work in adverse weather conditions (hot, cold, inclement weather).
• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Work at heights, climb tower ladders up to 100 ft+, and ascend/descend up to ten flights or more.
• Bend, stretch, walk, and climb with a 30 lb+ backpack for up to 10 hours a day on concrete or steel surfaces.
• Wear a full body harness and fall arrest system with a 30 lb+ backpack containing monitoring equipment.
• Hold a valid Driver's License.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check, drug screen, and physical examination.

Good faith estimate: $22 per hour. Compensation varies with experience, education, key skills, geographic location, client requirements, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
