This position is responsible for performing a wide range of custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, disposing of trash, and cleaning restrooms, gaming areas, slot machines, and common surfaces such as windows, walls, carpets, and furnishings, while excluding sensitive gaming areas. The role requires adherence to safety standards at all times, promptly reporting hazards or injuries, maintaining knowledge of cleaning solutions and equipment, and ensuring proper operation and upkeep of custodial tools.

Employees must also follow departmental procedures, support preventative maintenance, and participate in ongoing training, meetings, and workshops. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and customer service, requiring individuals to foster positive relationships with coworkers, guests, and vendors while contributing to a collaborative work environment. Employees are expected to engage with guests courteously, provide accurate information about amenities and services, and uphold a clean, hazard‑free workspace.

The position may involve mentoring team members, working flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and handling physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Candidates should preferably have a high school diploma or GED, be able to operate cleaning equipment, and must pass a pre‑employment drug screening. The work environment is primarily indoors and may include exposure to noise and fumes.
