This position is responsible for developing and implementing department goals and standards, directing, coordinating, overseeing and delegating daily repair tasks to facilities maintenance personnel and ensuring that the Isleta Casino and Resort is kept clean, operational and presentable. Will also be responsible for working with contractors on larger renovation projects. Promotes and exhibits world‑class guest service to all Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests, ensuring employee and guest compliance with all Tribal, Federal, State, Pueblo of Isleta, and Isleta Resort and Casino regulations.

- Assist in creating, updating, implementing and monitoring a written maintenance schedule, which includes day‑to‑day cleaning and long‑term preventative maintenance.
- Be familiar with property blueprints and floor plans to efficiently locate, identify and assess potential problems with infrastructure.
- Role‑model desired behavior for all property staff and follow all management policies representing Isleta Resort and Casino.
- Resolve all issues pertaining to building cleanliness, repair service and staff.
- Use good judgement to initiate additional work tasks to maintain building repairs, services and staff ongoing.
- Facilitate all necessary building repairs or replacements; react in a timely manner to satisfy all service requests.
- Schedule, report, organize and track all building activities and related staff issues.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the property and surrounding areas; assist with sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows as needed to maintain services.
- Ensure all components and operations necessary for the property to function properly are carried out.
- Work with all service contractors to ensure that elevators, pumps, motors and other mechanical building equipment are inspected regularly and cleaned, oiled, greased whenever necessary.
- Adhere to all safety and performance standards of self and employees.
- Enforce all reasonable building rules approved by the management team.
- Ensure schedules for cleaning of local waste line stoppages and maintain activities of water line repairs, shutting down necessary systems to prevent further damage.
- Monitor landscape operations and upkeep standards set by management.
- Manage electrical distribution systems, panel inspections, infrared/UPS testing and certification and CO inspections.
- Schedule inspections of lighting for all areas of property to monitor operation and luminary.
- Ensure inspections of doorknobs, spindles, locks, latches, windows and regulators for operation.
- Inspect property for repairs of exterior common‑area stucco and street‑level façade and wall and tile patches.
- Handle minor replacement of asphalt, minor roofing patches, minor cement patches and stucco repairs; also paint halls, conference rooms and offices.
- Maintain mechanical room cleanliness, safety and OSHA standards.
- Monitor staff performance, behavior, and attendance to ensure adherence to all Isleta Resort and Casino SOPs and provide coaching or corrective action as warranted.
- Schedule and plan shift calendars, communicate departmental and organizational goals, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure department is properly staffed and motivated to exceed the Isleta Resort and Casino’s goals and objectives.
- Work with Director to ensure adherence to fiscal budget.
- Look for/create efficiencies in work tasks to ensure proper spending.
