An excellent maintenance supervisor must be reliable and have a great eye for detail.
The ideal candidate is self‑motivated and detail‑oriented. Must be a self‑starter, organized, capable of multi‑tasking, be a good problem solver and be able to prioritize workloads. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks will also be essential. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.

- Direct staff and outside contractors with renovations such as cleaning, painting, carpet replacement, counter repairs, appliance repairs, etc.
- Direct staff and outside contractors in performing structural repairs to masonry, plumbing, woodwork, irrigation systems, swimming pools, spas, etc.
- Correct any known life‑safety hazards.
- Obtain bids for work from external contractors.
- Assemble, analyze and submit bids to the Community Manager with recommendations.
- Acknowledge receipt of all goods and materials delivered to the property for maintenance and supervise and approve all work performed at the site by outside contractors.
- Conduct regular safety meetings with maintenance staff and ensure compliance with all Hazardous Materials and MSDS.
- Upon approval from the Community Manager, establish the work schedule for maintenance staff.
- Assist the Community Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
- Participate in after‑hours and emergency response.
- Establish and document preventative maintenance programs.
- Create and maintain a positive environment for staff and promote a positive work environment.
Supervises the maintenance employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Mayfair’s policies and procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, safety standards, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- HVAC State Certified
- Complete and pass the Fair Housing Test
