General Services Assistant

Popejoy Hall is looking for student employees to assist with the cleaning and upkeep of our venue, offices, and lobbies. Job duties include: sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles for proper disposal, ensuring all areas are locked after cleaning, and utilizing the proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Also performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. This position will work a mix of daytime hours and nights/weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Must be willing to work as part of a team. Must be able to lift 30lbs minimum. Must be comfortable and able to use cleaning equipment and machinery.
