We’re seeking a dependable, hardworking, and proactive Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain Power Ford’s facilities and ensure our dealership remains safe, clean, functional, and professional for our employees and customers. This is a hands‑on position responsible for general facility maintenance, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, grounds upkeep, and supporting the day‑to‑day needs of our dealership. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can independently identify and resolve maintenance issues, and is comfortable working throughout a large, fast‑paced automotive facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine facility maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
Assist with preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, lighting, doors, restrooms, and shop equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of dealership buildings, service areas, and grounds.
Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues and report findings promptly.
Assist with setup and breakdown for dealership events, meetings, or inspections.
Support snow removal, landscaping, trash removal, and exterior upkeep as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility‑related issues.
Safely operate hand and power tools while following all safety procedures.
Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work or needed repairs.
Support the Facility Manager and Operations team with additional tasks as assigned.
RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or general repair work preferred.
Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Working ConditionsCombination of indoor and outdoor work environments.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and physical activity.
Exposure to varying weather conditions and shop environments.
Occasional after‑hours or weekend work may be required for urgent repairs.
