Every day, thousands of travelers pass through our airport. As a Building Services Specialist, you'll play a critical role in creating a positive first impression by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for passengers, visitors, and airport employees.

- Clean and maintain terminal floors, carpets, restrooms, and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles
- Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, stainless surfaces, and walls
- Strip, polish, and maintain floor finishes
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning solutions safely
- Assist passengers with directions and general information
- Monitor facilities for spills and safety hazards
- Notify leadership of maintenance needs and repairs
- Help with snow removal and de-icing around entrances
- Operate recycling compactors and balers
- Support a clean, safe, world‑class airport experience every day
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Less than one year of custodial or related experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Frequent indoor work within airport facilities
- Some outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Moderate physical activity, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing
- Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintaining awareness of passenger and employee safety at all times
