Our client, a leading provider of professional cleaning services, is seeking a Janitorial Specialist to join their team. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be part of the Facilities Support team, supporting building maintenance and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $19-$21/ hour

Shift: Monday-Friday after 5 pm

What's the Job?

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations
• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) where required to ensure safety
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as needed to secure premises

What's Needed?

• Prior experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, or similar role is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn and adapt through on-the-job training
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Dependability, punctuality, and a professional appearance in uniform
• Effective communication skills in English
