Overview
This position manages the maintenance supply room and is under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times.
- Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products in the stock room.
- Performing quality checks on inventory and return inventory that does not meet the company standards.
- Update inventory count and maintain inventory records to share with management.
- Report discrepancies in inventory, such as too little inventory at last count.
- Implementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft.
- Research and obtain vendor estimates and price details to compare costs.
- Schedules minor equipment and vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Schedules and tracks off-site repairs and inspections for association-owned vehicles and equipment.
- Responsible for tracking employee uniform and personal protective equipment issues.
- Schedules and tracks dumpster disposals.
- Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
- May cut keys. Responsible for maintenance yard key control.
- Prepares snow removal equipment annually. Assists in snow removal as required.
- Other additional duties may be assigned from time to time.
- High school diploma or GED.
- A bachelor s degree is preferred.
- A valid driver s license is required.
- At least two years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics or inventory, or similar.
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be familiar with basic repair principles of small gasoline motors, basic vehicle maintenance (such as adding fluids), common hand and power tools usage, and upkeep.
- The ability to operate the wheeled tractor and front-end loader is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
- Position requires onsite work during emergency events, such as winter storms.
Full-time Pay:
$25-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
