Job DetailsPosition:
Service Technician (Part of the Service and Asset Preservation Team)
As a Service Technician, you join a dedicated team of professional tradespeople who ensure the physical appearance, preventative maintenance, move‑in readiness, and ongoing service needs of our apartment communities are top priority.

Primary Responsibilities- Deliver timely, clear, and courteous customer service 100% of the time.
- Proactively care for the building and community by maintaining plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
- Respond to service tickets swiftly, document and communicate status, and prioritize requests thoughtfully.
- Build trust and positive rapport with residents by being respectful and empathetic during repairs.
- Know the make‑ready schedule and monitor vacancies daily, initiating turnover per company standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safeguard equipment with regular tune‑ups.
- Conduct daily community walks to inspect cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
- Collaborate with leasing and customer experience teams to escape urgent maintenance matters and communicate community concerns.
- Contribute to team success by achieving individual goals and supporting team goals.
- Passion for people and community; open to all backgrounds.
- Proven work history delivering responsible, high‑quality maintenance services in residential apartments or related industry.
- Well‑versed in all phases of HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Universal EPA/CFC or CAMT Certification.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Available to be on call, work outside of standard business hours, and respond to life‑safety incidents within 30 minutes.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and life‑safety systems.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word) and experience with industry‑specific management software such as Yardi.

The hourly range for this role is $22.39–$34.83 (subject to experience). In addition to base salary, the role may qualify for monthly and annual bonus programs, including leasing commissions, renewal bonuses, and spot awards.
