Janitor Lead

Position Overview

Full Time Janitor Lead – Alexandria City High School, 3330 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22302. Openings at other district locations are available. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Full‑time and part‑time options with flexibility are available.

• Conduct classroom and hands‑on training on customer service, safety, compliance, and company policies.
• Conduct one‑on‑one training as needed.
• Update and provide training on the use of janitorial equipment, PPE, and chemical usage/safety.
• Copy and revise training material as required; perform administrative tasks as requested.
• Provide feedback on new associates during the orientation period; review trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Offer recommendations to the training coordinator for disciplinary action when appropriate.
• Perform monthly safety performance reviews to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management, and other applicable company/federal/state/local requirements and policies.
• Conduct walk‑through building inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Prior manager and janitorial experience required.

Fixed pay rate: $16.50 per hour.
