Floor Tech (Full-Time)
Daily cleaning of floors in corridors and other assigned areas. Project cleaning of walls, lights, induction units, windows, etc. All work to be done in accordance with the standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with the facility's objectives. Using cleaning equipment such as automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, tools, products and supplies.
The shift open for the Floor Tech: 7:00 - 3:00 Monday-Friday and requires every other weekend.
Pay: $20/hour
Job Duties:
- Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
- Mop, scrub and buff floors.
- Vacuum carpets for cleaning and bacteria control.
- Trash and linen - transport from utility rooms and other collection points to designated areas. Trash to be compacted, incinerated or placed in containers.
- Trash and recycling to be collected from floors
- Move furniture and set up meeting rooms.
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spill observed or upon request.
- Wash ceilings, walls, lights, windows inside and out and vents.
- Train for Custodian.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Proficient verbal communication skills required.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.
