Retail-Store Cleaning Associate

Home Goods, a division of Widgets Co, is seeking a reliable Retail-Store Cleaning Associate to keep our store clean, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you will clean sales floors, restrooms, break rooms, and stock areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal. You will follow safety and chemical handling procedures, report maintenance issues, and support occasional event setup and cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and stock areas to company standards
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust fixtures, displays, and common areas throughout the store
• Collect, bag, and remove trash and recyclables safely and on schedule
• Monitor and restock cleaning and paper supplies as needed
• Perform light cleaning of store equipment and fixtures following safety guidelines
• Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures and use PPE correctly
• Report maintenance or safety issues to store leadership promptly
• Support occasional setup/cleanup for in-store events or floor resets
