Maintenance - Jared Jewelers - Algonquin Commons

Jared Jewelers is seeking a Maintenance / Porter to keep the store appearance clean and support customer satisfaction.

• Perform all general maintenance inside and outside the store.
• Clean and maintain the sales floor by picking up spills and debris.
• Maintain glass windows and doors, keeping them free of spots.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms on a designated schedule.
• Keep the break room clean, neat, and orderly.
• Maintain the outside appearance of the store by sweeping or picking up debris and regularly emptying trash containers.
• Clear snow, slush, or ice from in front of the entrance.
• Monitor maintenance performed by contracted vendors.
• Use the ETS in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Genuine desire to serve customers and keep retail stores orderly.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
• Moderate interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and basic carpentry skills.
• Visual and auditory skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Base pay $15.00 – $16.00 per hour, determined by experience and qualifications.
