Maintain a clean and safe school facility while performing custodial and minor maintenance tasks.

• Perform general janitorial and maintenance care of the school, church, and other associated buildings as instructed by the Lead Maintenance Person and/or Principal
• Make sure grounds and buildings are in safe condition for all
• Attend to your own personal, spiritual, and professional development

• Ensure that all bathrooms are cleaned/sanitized daily and have sufficient supplies
• Ensure all classrooms are cleaned, swept/vacuumed and trash is emptied daily
• Empty all common area trash containers daily
• Daily sweeping of all hallways, library and lobby floors with mopping as needed
• Daily vacuuming of lobby and office
• Cleaning, dusting, washing windows, etc. of school and church as needed
• Ensure that the school, church, and other buildings are maintained
• Set up and tear down before and after events as needed
• In winter, make sure the walks are shoveled and salted
• In winter, be on call for rotating weekend snow shoveling at the other campuses
• Maintain equipment and follow manufacturer’s recommendations on tools & procedures
• Perform other duties as requested

• Must be physically able to lift, bend, stoop, push, pull, climb and reach
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work independently but is willing to work with additional team members to complete larger projects
• Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and adapt accordingly
