Siemens Mobility Rail Traction Components is seeking a qualified Service Repair Technician / Engineer for its Alpharetta, GA facility. In this factory‑based role, you will evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and test rail motors and gears in both factory and field environments while ensuring high‑quality results.

• Inspect incoming units, document findings, and prepare detailed failure reports with photos as needed.
• Safely operate lifting devices, cranes, jigs, and assembly stands while supporting a Zero Harm safety culture.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and bills of materials to determine repair requirements.
• Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, and test rail motors and gears to meet quality specifications and tolerances.
• Complete accurate documentation and reporting while working in factory, field, and high‑voltage test environments with some travel.

• Meet education requirements through an associate degree, vocational certification, apprenticeship certification, or two years of related work experience.
• Identify complex problems, review related information, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
• Possess the skills, attributes, behaviors, and experience to serve as a collaborative technical trainer on various products.
• Use computers and software applications while applying basic lean principles to optimize processes and eliminate waste.

• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

The pay range for this position is $60,136.00 – $79,968.00 annually. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
