Housekeeper – Great Au Pair  LLC, Alpine, NJ

I live with my husband and two children, 1‑year‑old and 3‑year‑old boys, who are incredibly sweet and fun but can also turn the house upside down in minutes! I am looking for a full‑time live‑in housekeeper to help maintain a tidy house on a daily basis. Hours are flexible as long as the work is being done as needed.

• Each day: straighten bedrooms, clean the kitchen after meals and at the end of the day, clean bathrooms, organize clothes and toys, and put them away.
• Pet care: feed the cat, provide fresh food/water, and empty litter boxes.
• Weekly tasks: take garbage and recycling bins out in the driveway on schedule; restock tissues, toilet paper, Qtips, paper goods, milk, butter, eggs, etc.; help with grocery shopping and meal preparation.
• Manage basic household errands and appointments; coordinate with the dry cleaner on pick‑up/drop‑off of specialty clothing.
• Maintain the house between the general cleaning crew’s weekly visits and perform more detailed cleaning throughout each area of the house—including wiping individual toys, vacuuming under couch cushions, cleaning windows, front porch, backyard patio, and the dining table.
• Water household plants regularly and clean or replace vase water for fresh cut flowers as needed.

Occasional child care: care for the children while we are out for dinner or during short hospital runs. If you become part of the family and are comfortable, you may also care for the kids while we are away on long weekends, annual vacations, or trips to Greece.

We are a very warm, friendly, and easy‑going household, but we find serenity in a neat and organized home that you can help us maintain.
