Senior Accountant

A well-established, global organization in the manufacturing/distribution space is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its corporate accounting team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad accounting role, wants exposure to leadership, and is looking to be part of a stable company with an international footprint.

This person will work closely with the Controller and broader finance team on month-end close, financial reporting support, reconciliations, process improvement, and a variety of accounting projects. The role offers a nice mix of core accounting responsibilities, cross-functional visibility, and the opportunity to help improve systems, controls, and reporting processes as the company continues to evolve.

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules
• Assist with financial statement preparation and review to ensure accurate reporting
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts
• Support fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and related controls
• Assist with cash and bank account reconciliations
• Partner with domestic and international finance teams on intercompany activity and related reconciliations
• Support internal and external audit requests, including preparation of schedules and documentation
• Assist with internal controls, process documentation, and opportunities to strengthen accounting procedures
• Help evaluate and improve ERP/system workflows to create efficiencies within the accounting function
• Participate in ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects for the Controller and finance leadership team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within public accounting, manufacturing, distribution, or a corporate accounting environment
• Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• ERP experience preferred
• CPA or CPA track is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
• Team-oriented personality with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
• Someone who is curious, process-minded, and excited to take ownership within a growing accounting function
