OverviewAbout the Opportunity:
A well-established Chicagoland organization is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to join its onsite team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing administrative processes, and providing compassionate support in a professional environment.
This opportunity is best suited for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a combination of customer service, billing support, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities- Handle customer inquiries and service requests both in person and over the phone
- Process invoices, payments, and service-related documentation
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and administrative tracking
- Assist with sales and service support functions
- Support customers through sensitive or emotionally charged situations with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate paperwork, inventory tracking, and general office support duties
- Assist clients with on-site service coordination as needed
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate and problem solve
- Comfortable discussing billing, payments, and service-related fees
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data entry skills
- Professional and personable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual Spanish and/or Polish is a plus
- Experience in retail, healthcare, hospitality, or other customer-facing environments
- Experience handling sensitive customer interactions
- Familiarity with administrative office procedures and systems
- 100% onsite role in the South Suburbs of Chicago
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM - Quarterly bonus opportunities based on office performance
