Dispatch Manager

The Dispatch Manager leads and manages the day-to-day operation of multiple operations/locations, while providing frequent and efficient communication with customers, drivers, and leadership.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation: $68,000-$75,000/year

Essential Duties:

* Lead and manage multiple dispatch offices/operations to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner.

* Ensure team members have the proper resources, training and tools to execute their job.

* Address escalated question and resolve complex issues as they arise in a timely manner.

* Coach the team for improved productivity.

* Setting clear expectations.

* Assist with preparing and dispatching orders to the carrier.

* Utilization of KPI's to drive results for the business.

* Communicate with customers in a timely and effective manner via phone and email.

* Personal responsibility to manage change.

Qualifications:

* This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Must have at least five years of experience in customer service.

* Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

* Previous logistics experience preferred.

Skills:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment.

* Working knowledge of Zendesk is preferred.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

* Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Ability to proactively research and resolve problems.

* Strong leadership skills

* Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.

* Critical thinking with exceptional attention to detail.

* Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.

* Strong negotiation skills.

* Knowledge of the vehicle logistics industry preferred.
