Production Scheduler at Ingersoll Rand.
Location:
Alsip, IL. The Production Scheduler supports Ingersoll Rand’s commitment to customer success by translating demand into executable production plans. Serving the IR Pumps, MP Pumps, and Oberdorfer brands, this role balances capacity, materials, and priorities while embracing accountability, agility, and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned to customer demand and capacity.
- Coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.
- Monitor schedule adherence and proactively resolve constraints.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage work orders and priorities.
- Support IRX and continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate schedule changes, risks, and recovery plans clearly.
- Mitigate COGI errors.
- Analyze performance metrics to improve planning effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of production scheduling or planning experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Fully site based
The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate’s skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location.
