Integrity Trade Services is hiring a CNC Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $35/hr! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
ResponsibilitiesThe CNC Maintenance Mechanic plays an integral role in planning, installing, and servicing both CNC and manual machinery. We’re looking for a dependable professional with strong mechanical aptitude who consistently follows safety guidelines and ethical practices. The ideal candidate will be skilled in blueprint interpretation and collaborate effectively to support our company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Follow all company safety procedures to protect yourself, coworkers, contractors, customers, and property.
- Promote and maintain a safety-first culture by reporting unsafe conditions and contributing to a secure workplace.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly in compliance with preventative maintenance programs.
- Read, prepare, and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts.
- Lead the installation, removal, and relocation of production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues using hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Perform all additional assigned duties with accuracy and professionalism.
Location: Alsip, IL
Qualifications- HS diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience with demonstrated expertise in CNC and manual machine tools.
- Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as heating, cooling, and general facility systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Minimum 2 years of experience using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, meters, calipers, and related tools.
- Mechanical & Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of precision tools, machinery, and industrial systems, with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.
- Effective critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in technical or fast-paced settings.
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, temperature variations, fumes, and chemicals.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Ability to work at elevated heights (e.g., scissor lifts).
