What you’ll tackle
Assemble small components with high manual dexterity
Set up/adjust test equipment to keep quality high and work flowing
Fit and adjust parts to close tolerances (as tight as 0.002) per Standard Work Instructions Engage in continuous improvement using IR Business Systems tools and 5 Whys Maintain a safe, orderly workspace; identify and report hazards
Perform additional related tasks as assigned
Schedule
Monday–Friday7:30pm–4:00pm OR 4:00pm–12:30amTraining begins on 1st shift
Compensation
Starting pay will be $22.85 per hour, plus a $1.35/hour premium for second shift.
Pay Range Starting pay will be $21.85 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
The pay range takes into account multiple factors—skills, training, experience, certifications, and business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted for geographic differentials. It’s uncommon to start at the top of the range; offers depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Minimum qualifications3+ years in a manufacturing environment2+ years assembly experience2+ years using micrometers, gauges, meters, calipers, and related tools2+ years interpreting blueprints/schematics and following written or verbal instructions
Proven experience fitting parts with close tolerances (example: 0.002)
Core strengths
Hands-on mechanical and technical capability; safety-first and CI mindset
Works independently and collaborates effectively
Strong English communication (written and verbal)
Analytical, practical problem solver in fast-moving, technical settings
Preferred HS Diploma or GED Soldering experience
Environment & physical requirements
Onsite industrial setting with noise, heat/cold, fumes, and chemicals
Lift up to 50 lbs Kneel, bend, climb ladders, work in restricted spaces; stand/walk for long periods
Comfortable at heights (e.g., scissor lift)
